Our Impacts
Since founded in 2018, we have positioned ourselves to secure the protection of our women rights, end gender-based violence, and access to health with the focus on sexual and reproductive health services, inclusive governance and climate justice.
1) As part of the efforts to advance the human right and amplify the voices of the under-served women and girls and end gender based violence including the right of Lesbian, bisexual and sex workers in Nigeria, in June 2018Moment for Women Alliance partnered with African Girls Empowerment Network to launch Moment for Women show: an interactive and educative session that discuss issues related to women’s leadership & political participation, health & reproductive justice, economic and financial inclusion, Climate justice and environmental protection to end gender-based violence in all its forms and promote women’s good health and well-being and improve equal access to productive resources in Nigeria; The program also empower rape survivors, teenage mothers, victims of domestic violence and female circumcision to tell their stories and speak out for the human rights of women and girls
Through the Moment for Women Show, we have been able to reach out to over 3000 women and young girls across Africa and educating them on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights including family planning/child spacing, prevention of gender based violence, TB and HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness campaign, entrepreneurship and leadership and other contemporary issues that affects women in the society.
2)MOMENT FOR WOMEN’S MAGAZINE, since launched in 2020, our Gender lens Magazine has helped tell women’s stories and raising awareness on women’s human rights and inclusion in Africa even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
So far, we have published more than 20 successful editions and have reached over 25,000 readers.

3) Let Women Vote Nigeria Campaign
Since launched in June 2022, the campaign has reached and engaged over 2000 women to register and get their PVCs. We also sensitized and educate them on the danger of vote selling
